# Algolia

> Enable Algolia Productivity MCP and connect it to your Dema agents.

Connect Algolia to let your Dema agents search your indices and review search analytics. The integration is read-only and uses your Algolia account's access permissions.

## Enable in Algolia

1. Open the [Algolia dashboard](https://dashboard.algolia.com/) and go to **Generative AI → MCP Servers → Productivity**.
2. Turn on **Algolia Productivity MCP**.

This only needs to be enabled once per Algolia account. Leave it enabled while using the integration.

## Connect in Dema

1. Go to **Agents → Settings → Integrations** and click **Add integration**.
2. Find **Algolia** and click **Connect**.
3. Sign in to Algolia and approve access. You'll return to Dema with the connection ready to use.

No API keys or OAuth app setup are needed. Each user signs in with their own Algolia account.

To use the connection with an agent you created, open that agent and add it under **Configuration → Integrations**. See [Your agents](/guides/agent/your-agents#integrations).
